Jan 11, 2017 – Colouring Competition - Kinderworld


Colouring Competition, held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, provided our tiny tots an opportunity to exhibit their colouring skills. It was fascinating to watch the little ones colour their pictures with amazing adroitness, thereby giving their peers a tough but a healthy competition.

Jan 12, 2017 – Patang Making Competition - Kinderworld


Mitra Kinderworld came alive on the eve of Makara Sankranti, with the ‘Patang Making Activity’. Decorating their pretty kites, creatively and aesthetically, was an exhilarating experience for our little ones. This funfilled activity made their spirits soar as high as kites flying in the sky.

Jan 13, 2017 – CURIO CITY - Science Exhibition


‘Curio – city’ – The Science Expo was organised in the school to create a scientific spirit among the students and increase their creativity, logical and reasoning power. Students from classes I to IX exhibited charts, working models and projects to showcase their scientific temper. The attractive exhibits, the oratory skills to reason the principle behind their work and the interest to participate won the applause of both the parents as well as the teachers. Interesting models included the sublimation of dry ice, the working of the fire alarm, the projector and the radar detector. The project on drip irrigation, sewage treatment, types of shells focused on bringing the application of science into action. The Management applauded the students in their endeavour and asked them to be curious in the real world to reap the benefits of Science.

Jan 18, 2017 – Theme Talk Competition - Kinderworld


Theme Talk competition provided a wonderful platform for the children to showcase their speaking skills. It was awe inspiring to watch the tiny tots speaking on the stage with such eloquence and confidence. The competition indeed succeeded in achieving its goal of enhancing the speaking skills of the tiny tots and in boosting their confidence.

Jan 19, 2017 – Field Trip to Fire Station


Field Trip to the Fire station proved to be an absolute amazing venture for the tiny tots of Mitra Kinderworld. The demonstration given by the firemen at the fire station, not only enlightened the children, but also filled them with awe. The little ones expressed their gratitude to the fire officers by presenting them with lovely cards prepared by them with the help of their teachers.

Jan 25, 2017 – Republic Day Special Assembly - Kinderworld

To kindle patriotism in our tiny tots, a special assembly on Republic Day was held on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 in Mitra Kinderworld. Children as well as teachers came dressed in white / off white for the celebration. The assembly hall wore a cheerful look, decorated aesthetically with tricolor cutouts. It was amazing to watch the children speak with pride about the significance of Republic Day. A patriotic song by teachers further added to the patriotic spirit.

Jan 25, 2017 – Republic Day Special Assembly - Kinderworld

68th Republic Day was celebrated by Government of Karnataka on 26/01/2017 at Manekshaw Parade Grounds, Bengaluru. Governor Vajubhai Vala unfurled the national flag and addressed the gathering. In his speech, he stressed on the areas in which Karnataka is developing and highlighted the measures taken by Government to improve the society. This was followed by March Past by various contingents of military, para-military, civil defence, traffic, fire service and scout and guides. The major attraction was march past by students from various schools of Bangalore including Mitra Academy. With their colourful attire and scintillating music provided by the band in the back ground, the students gave an impressive performance which was much appreciated by the audience. Cultural program by 3 Government School children enthralled the audience.The celebration was attended by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Ministers, officials and other invitees. Chief Minister gave away awards to Government Servants for their service to the society. Governor Vajubhai Vala gave away the trophies to winners of March Past and cultural event. Mitra Academy bagged the trophy for standing second in March Past under Group 7. Overall it was a memorable experience for all the participants and the audience.
