The students of Class IX were taken to Buoyancee, Bannerghatta road, for a one-day workshop on leadership skills, team work and personality development. An activity was conducted to understand the idea of ‘self-esteem’ where they were expected to make a list of do’s and don’ts in order to build self-esteem, discuss 3 points and present 1 vital point. Two activities were conducted – trust walk and traffic jam. The activities saw the students work as a team and trust each other’s’ judgments. Cooperation and planning were essential to complete this task successfully. The workshop was concluded by Mr. Ajit Kaikini, CEO of Buoyancee. He elicited responses to the questions “what have you learned and how are you going to walk out of Buoyancee today?”. The students’ well-articulated responses were a clear indication that they truly imbibed the information and thoughts shared with them through the workshop.
