                                                                       Unity in dance disperses vibrant colours

The Google Doodle portrayed by me represents the different dance forms of India. Dance, being the common topic in my doodle has many sub-divisions. Hence the different dances performed by Indians come under a united category dance. So my doodle represents the topic, "Unity in Diversity"

Bullet Fevicol Science Project Challenge 2012 - Ms. Spoorthi Kurse, Ms. Manasa Murali and Ms. Suvarna Sindhu brought laurel to Mitra Academy by bagging first prize in the Fevicol Science Project Challenge 2012 competition conducted by Pidilite Industries. Over 73 schools had participated in the competition. Ms. Nalini, the Science teacher and Mr. Shravana Kumar, art teacher guided the winners in the presentation of their project. The winners won a pleasure trip to Singapore.

Students of Mitra Academy performed amazingly well and won the award for the BEST COSTUMES & PROPS and the BEST BROCHURE. Vikyath G. Kashyap won the 2nd place under the category the BEST MALE ACTOR.

All the hard work, effort and meticulous planning of the students and teachers bore fruit when Mitra Academy was declared the winner in Street Theatre category (for classes VIII-X) in the inaugural Miraculous Medal Theatre Festival held in Christ School. The competition organised by Theatre Capital, witnessed tough competition with lot of other reputed schools of the city vying for the top slot. The powerful depiction of the apathy towards sports in the country through the street play was commended by the judges for its direction and impeccable acting by the students. The Academy also grabbed the 'Best Script' award in the Proscenium category (Classes V-VII).

Congratulations to Prerith Sathyavanth the young tennis player who travelled to Hyderabad to participate in 20th ASISC National Game 2016 on 10 November, 2016. He won the tournament.

Mitra Academy is extremely proud of our tennis star Prerith Sathyavanth , he added one more feather in his cap . He won the Proteam – AITA under – 14 championship series tennis tournament at the Proteam courts on Tuesday November 8, 2016. Prerith rallied to defeat Arya Rajath Raj 4-6, 7-5, 10-7 in the Boy’s singles final. Congratulations!!!!!
