National Science Day – Std.I to V
National Science Day is celebrated every year on February 28 to commemorate the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’, which won the Indian scientist Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman or CV Raman the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930. To enlighten the students about his remarkable achievements and to recognize his great work in the field of science, the students of Std.I-V celebrated this day on Friday, 28th February as ‘National Science Day’. The teachers commenced the event by introducing the significance of the day to the students. This was followed by a screening on the life of Sir C V Raman, to foster joyful learning among the children. The clip depicted his early life, education and his passion in the field of science.
